In describing me
I would have to start with my love for poetry
Especially rhyming storytelling song lyrics
Lyrics that are waiting patiently to dance with music
So they can tell a believable story…
I prefer the Austin Texas music scene
Over the cookie-cutter Nashville thing
Music from Texas reminds me of me…
I’m the kind of guy that believes
If I have something to say I’m going to say it
If it looks like shit, don’t eat it
If an ass needs kicked, kick it…
Besides being a wordsmith
I love to float rivers and fish
I like loneliness… In alkali dust
Anywhere blue Sage grows
In Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Wyo…
I like skipping church to do God’s work
I like every form of art
I like people that are smart
I like talking to God my way… Not just on Sunday
