Crazy Fathers Daughter, Introduction

Introduction

It rarely happens to me but occasionally

I have the urge to write but nothing comes to me

This book is what happens when a poet

Looks through a stack of old journals for lost treasures

I was amazed how many things I had written

That at the time didn’t seem worthy for continued work

Funny thing… Once I started digging in the word gold mine

I found words that made me wonder of the why of it

 All kinds of things

Some spiritual… Some magical… Some mostly bull

Some that needed the perspective of a different episode

That I am living now at age 60 something

So here they are no rhyme or reason no concept of design

Just a bunch of words that have been exhumed from the grave

Ready to make someone think… Laugh… Cry or just wonder why

Like I’ve said so many times before

Whatever words I put on paper are for me

And maybe for you if you can let your mind see without rules

So go ahead and criticize me or crucify me

Or call me a wordsmith dipped in insanity

Or think I’m a saint with a connection to the other side

Or think I’m a sinner that is heading to hell

Because either way I will just keep writing… For me
