Crazy Fathers Daughter
I was blowing a smoke screen at my favorite dance hall
It was a wild woman scene I was going for it all
Then I got an earful from the new bartender
Be careful Sonny boy she’s some crazy father’s daughter
That guy will protect her because he tucked her in bed
He walked her to school so don’t push him over the edge
I’ll tell you what I sobered right up
I never thought of that weird stuff
So I started watching my back
For a crazy father attack
Then I watched her kiss the bartender
Yeah… She’s some crazy fathers daughter
Then the bartender pointed a pretend pistol at me
He shot, blew smoke from the barrel looking more than crazy
I was pretty sure I was in love and not ready to give up
So I promised him there wouldn’t be any strange stuff
I just wanted to dance with the crazy fathers daughter
He said you’ll never understand until you’re a crazy father
