About The Author
Paul H. Keeler… A Cosmic Cowboy
My father had a fishing and river addiction
He was floating rivers finding his heaven
Back in the day, starting a family tradition
We floated rivers in rubber rafts back then
Out in the high desert Wyoming wind
All of the rivers are so crowded now but back then
It seemed we could fish a the river alone without end
As an old man, a1000 or so trout under the bridge
My father spent less time on the river chasing fish
Instead his time spent on the gravel bars looking for opals
Or digging in the sandstone bank for fossils
Or just watching me whisper to fish as I laughed
So thankful for the relationship we had
Now I’m passing on that river addiction
To my son and my grandchildren
Trying to show them the magic of rushing water
Helping them to feel the spiritual gravity of a river
And learn what I learned in my youth
Helping them to see the truth
That in my heaven… Like my father’s heaven
There is a river that never ends
